A thoroughly enjoyable experience! Extremely helpful folks both at handover and during the trip. Frida is a joy to drive and comfortable to live in.. big enough for ourselves- but nimble enough to navigate some narrow Highland roads. Would definitely recommend and will be booking her again !

Absolutely stunning camper van. Could comfortably sleep 4 people (and I mean comfortably) Excellent communication from start to finish along with helpful videos abd tutorials prior to collection. Frida drives smoothly and can cruise for miles. We took her all the way from the midlands to lands end and back. Android auto upgrade was a great addition over our previous rentals from a different provider aswell as the TV (gamechanger in miserable weather conditions) Fridge is plenty big enough for a weeks worth of supplies and plenty of other storage on board Would definately recomend ans hopefully we will be back next year for our scotland adventure!

Its rare for me to take a holiday but when I do, I want the holiday admin to be as smooth as possible so that I can concentrate on having adventures. That was exactly what happend when I rented this camper van. I met the owners a few weeks before hand and could see how all the features worked. If I had any questions whilst away, they set up a whatsapp group and I got all the support I needed. Its a lovely camper with so many extras. Its very clearn and tidy. In return, I made sure that I thoroughly cleaned it before returning it (I am amazed that lots of other renters dont do this). It was surprisingly economical on fuel and was a pleasure to drive. Everything worked. If you are a first time renter on goboony (as I was) I cant recommend these people to hire your first camper from - they will look after you and show you the ropes. Its bigger than the transit/vw vans but dont let that put you off. If you are a couple or a pair of friends, you will need the space. If the weather closes in, then you need the space. And if there are children as well, you will need the space and the storage that you simply wont get in a smaller van. When I got to a campsite at the end of a day touring around Scotland, I needed to walk my dog, feed both of us and then sit and watch the landscape. I certainly didnt want to spend an hour unpacking everything and putting up a bed. I watched lots of fellow campers doing just that (and the bickering that ensued). So just hire the bigger van.

Our 10-day Scottish adventure in Frida was unforgettable! My 7-year-old daughter, my mum, her dog, and I took Frida all the way to the Isle of Harris and Lewis (what an incredible island!) before slowly making our way down the west coast—and she was perfect for the journey. I’d never driven anything this big before, but Frida was so easy to get used to. She had loads of storage, all the home comforts you could want—hot water, a shower, toilet (easy to clean!), cooking facilities, and even WiFi. The solar panels were the best part—we never had to hook up once, and the battery never dropped below 79%! It gave us the freedom to park up wherever we liked and avoid campsites unless we actually wanted to stay at one. My daughter absolutely loved sleeping "upstairs," and we saw some incredible sights from our overnight spots. The communication before, during, and after the trip was spot on. Everything was clearly explained when we picked Frida up, and there were super helpful videos to refer to (because there’s no way you remember it all on day one!). The owners were always available if we had a question, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Frida was the perfect campervan for our first adventure—and now we’ve got the bug! Frida was geweldig! We zijn net terug van een reis van 3 weken door Schotland, inclusief de NC500. De communicatie met Mike en Jess was uitstekend. Frida heeft dit uitstekend gedaan en de zonnepanelen zijn zeer efficiënt! Hoewel we het hefdak of de luifel niet hebben gebruikt, hadden we toch voldoende ruimte. Er is alles wat je nodig hebt in de keuken en de opbergruimte is fantastisch, vooral de slimme kledingkast in de douche. Het bed was erg comfortabel en we hebben heerlijk geslapen, met een prachtig uitzicht vanuit bed als de deuren 's ochtends opengaan. We hebben een echt fantastische vakantie gehad en hebben er enorm van genoten. Frida was echt een thuis ver van huis en heeft ons geholpen om een aantal heel bijzondere herinneringen te creëren die een leven lang meegaan. Onze enige spijt was dat we Frida moesten teruggeven. Wij zouden Frida 100% aan iedereen aanbevelen om eropuit te trekken en je eigen avontuur te beleven!

We spent a couple of weeks in Scotland in Frida and had a wonderful holiday. It was fantastic to explore the islands of Skye and Harris in a campervan, even when there were 50mph winds and driving rain at times. The pop up bed is a real bonus, giving you that extra space. Mike was very helpful before, during and after our trip answering questions and resolving minor issues us newbie campervaners had.

My partner and I have just rented Frida for a 12 day trip over to Ireland for a cycling holiday, she really was a dream to drive around. The van was well equipped with everything we needed, tbh there are just too many positives to mention them all !! but the shower set up was amazing as was the bed it was just so comfortable. We stayed off grid our entire trip using just the solar panel & a daily hour drive to our next destination, with no issues at all with the battery staying charged. Although my partner had rented campers in the past, it was my first time and I can honestly say I was wholly delighted & had the most amazing experience. Communication with Mike, Jess and Darren & Sarah were faultless, pre hire videos very informative. Would highly recommend renting, as a 1st users or experienced campers, Frida is a delight … you won’t regret it 🙂
