We had messages with Alastair before booking where he said that he accepted dogs. When we arrive on Saturday night the first thing that he said to us was you have dogs so you can’t have my van. He then tried to get us to pay an extra security deposit which he then called compensation, so it sounded like if we paid it then we wouldn’t get it back!! We ended up last minute having to find a different van!!! Juni 2026

Reactie van Alistair I'm sorry we couldn't accept your booking. Prior to the booking the hirer had offered a deposit in case the two energetic dogs scratched the furniture or floor but the hirers companion disagreed to pay this on arrival. We took the hit on the earnings and I was the right decision despite the negative review. Glad the hirer found another van.
