GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Booking conditions: Every holidaymaker undertakes to comply with the internal regulations of the Campsite which are displayed at the reception, on the campsite’s website, and available on request. Any booking implies the acceptance of all the general terms and conditions of sale as well as the internal regulations. The booking becomes effective only with the agreement of the campsite, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt either of the booking contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale during online booking. The booking of a camping pitch or of a rental is made on a strictly personal basis. You may in no case sublet nor transfer your booking. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Accommodation is planned for a determined number of occupants. It may in no case be occupied by a higher number of persons. The manager of the campsite is entitled to refuse any additional person. Customers’ wishes concerning camping pitches and rentals will be taken into account by the management, however no guarantee is provided as to their fulfilment. Final allocation to the different customers will depend on their order of booking.

Prices: The indicated prices are guaranteed until March 1st of each year. The campsite reserves the right to modify the prices at any time beyond the indicated date. Stays will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force on the day of the booking, and this subject to availability. It is advised to check the applicable price by contacting the campsite directly. Offers and promotions are non-retroactive and non-cumulative between them. The rental price includes water, gas and an electricity consumption (except for certain monthly contracts).

Fee: Prices are understood inclusive of all taxes. Any modification of the applicable VAT rate occurring between the moment when the prices were determined and the invoice of the stay will entail a corresponding modification of the price. For bookings made more than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total amount plus the booking fees must be paid at booking at the campsite. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay. Failing full payment 30 days before arrival, the campsite reserves the right to consider that the booking is cancelled. The amounts paid as a deposit remain acquired by the lessor. For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking at the campsite. Accepted means of payment are cash, cheques (they are not authorised for bookings less than 30 days before arrival), ANCV holiday cheques, bank transfers (they are not accepted less than 20 days before arrival) and bank card. The amounts paid remain definitively acquired by the campsite. Every adult holidaymaker must pay a tourist tax of €0.44 per night and per adult and an eco-contribution of €0.16 per night and per adult. The tourist tax is collected by the campsite and transferred to the municipality. The cost of the tourist tax may change during the year and may thus affect upward or downward the total amount of the stay.

Your stay : Rentals : Accommodation is rented from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. It is strictly forbidden to be more persons in the accommodation than the number indicated in the title of the accommodation. It is also forbidden to install tents or other structures on the accommodation plots. All our rentals are non-smoking. The use of shared sanitary facilities is forbidden for accommodation renters (except Tit Home).
Pitches: Pitches are rented from 2:30 p.m. to 12 p.m. For any delayed departure, an additional day may be invoiced to you at the price of the night in force. Pitches may not be occupied by more than 6 persons. Double-axle caravans are forbidden. There may not be several motorhomes or caravans or vans on the same pitch.

Security deposit: In the case of an accommodation rental, a €400 deposit is requested at arrival. The renter must report any missing element or any cleaning problem (within 2 hours after key delivery for cleaning and within 24 hours for any missing inventory element). If he has not taken the cleaning package, cleaning is at the renter’s charge. In the absence of cleaning done by the customer before departure, the cleaning package will be retained from the deposit, that is, €40 per estimated hour of cleaning. The deposit is returned after the inventory check if the rented property shows no damage and is in perfect cleanliness. If the renter leaves very early, the inventory will be done in his absence. Any breakage, manifest degradation (soiling, dirtiness), deterioration or loss will be invoiced and retained from the amount of the deposit according to the repair and/or reinstatement invoice. If the customer pays the cleaning package, then the dishes must be washed and stored and the bins emptied.

Traffic, parking and vehicle charging: Inside the campsite, vehicles must drive at a speed limited to 10 km/h. Only vehicles belonging to holidaymakers staying there may circulate inside the campsite. The campsite gate is closed at night from 10:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. If you must leave before opening or after closing of the gate, it is essential to park outside the campsite. Parking is strictly forbidden on any pitch other than your own. It is forbidden to charge electric vehicles in the campsite. Silence must be total during the night.

Animals: Dogs are allowed (except dogs of 1st and 2nd categories) for a fee, with their up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo card. They must be kept on a leash and must in no case remain alone or be free in the campsite. The campsite has a dog park. To enter it, obligations must be followed (see internal regulations). Vaccination against kennel cough and the rabies vaccine are mandatory to enter this park and thus make use of its facilities. The vaccination booklet may be requested from you at any time.

General Data Protection Regulation: In application with the GDPR, your personal data are used for the exclusive use of Camping La Venise de l’Ouest within the framework of its commercial activity. They are stored in full security and for a duration corresponding to mandatory regulation. In accordance with legislation, you have a right of access, rectification and deletion.

Image: By accepting these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the customer expressly authorises, free of charge, the company Camping La Venise de l’Ouest to photograph or film him during his stay and to use on all media the photos, videos or sounds, without time limit. This authorisation applies both to you and to the persons accommodated with you. It aims to ensure the promotion and animation of the establishment. This authorisation is granted free of charge.

Dispute and Mediation: If despite all our willingness to satisfy you fully you have complaints, we ask you to inform immediately the person in charge of reception on site who will endeavour to provide you with an answer. Otherwise, in the context of a dispute with our establishment, you have the possibility to contact us by sending a letter by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt to the manager of the concerned campsite. If the answer does not satisfy you, within one year from your written complaint, the consumer, subject to Article L.152-2 of the Consumer Code, has the possibility to submit a request for amicable resolution by mediation on the following website www.cm2c.net or by mail: CM2C – 14 rue Saint Jean 75017 PARIS.

Liability: The Company cannot be held responsible, due to communication by its partners or by any third party, of photographs for which they claimed to have the rights, of false, misleading or erroneous information which would be mentioned in the catalogues or on the partners’ websites, and notably the presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure, services and operating dates. All photos and texts used on the campsite website are non-contractual. They have only an indicative character. The campsite’s liability is not engaged in case of theft, loss or damage of any nature (vehicle or other) during or following a stay, as well as in case of breakdown or shutdown of technical equipment. For your personal guarantee (theft, damage) or damages caused by you in the rentals, it is essential to ask your insurer for a holiday-extension to your home insurance. Children will be under the supervision and full responsibility of their parents.

Modification, cancellation and interruption of stay: The customer may request the modification of his stay by written request to Camping La Venise de l’Ouest (mail or email), subject to availability and possibilities and this up to 30 days before arrival. After this period, the modification request will not be taken into account. If we are forced to cancel a booking that we have confirmed to you, we will inform you as soon as possible by email; the sums paid will be fully refunded to you by bank transfer no later than 30 days following the cancellation notification and after receipt of your bank details by Camping La Venise de l’Ouest. This cancellation may not, however, give rise to the payment of damages. Camping La Venise de l’Ouest offers optional cancellation and interruption insurance distributed by MEETCH. This insurance covers notably stay cancellations in case of illness (hospitalisation), serious accident or death, damage causing major harm to your home, dismissal or modification of your holidays by the employer, as a result of being summoned to an exam or before a court. The specific conditions of this contract are accessible at subscription or on request by email. At the time of online or telephone/mail booking, the customer has the possibility to subscribe to the cancellation insurance offered by Camping La Venise de l’Ouest. Its amount is a percentage of the total stay. If the customer has subscribed to MEETCH cancellation insurance: the customer contacts the Meetch provider directly and is refunded his stay according to the conditions of this contract. If the customer has not subscribed to MEETCH cancellation insurance, the particular conditions below apply: No refund nor reduction will be granted in the case of late arrival or early departure. In the absence of a written message from the customer specifying that he had to postpone his arrival date, the pitch becomes available 24 hours after the planned arrival date in the rental contract, and full payment of the services remains due. Any cancellation must be notified to us by any written means on a durable medium (email, registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt, etc.). If your email/letter is presented up to 31 days before your arrival, the deposit paid and the booking fees paid remain acquired by Camping La Venise de l’Ouest. If your letter is presented less than 31 days before your arrival date, all sums paid to Camping La Venise de l’Ouest remain acquired by them. Camping La Venise de l’Ouest will make no refund for any reason whatsoever.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

1. Conditions of admission and stay
To be admitted to enter, settle or stay on a campsite, authorization must have been given by Camping La Venise de l’Ouest or its representative. The latter is required to ensure the proper upkeep and order of the campsite as well as compliance with the application of these internal regulations.

Staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of these regulations and the commitment to comply with them.
No one may take up domicile there.

2. Police formalities
Minors not accompanied by their parents will only be admitted with written authorization from them.
In application of Article R. 611-35 of the Code on the Entry and Stay of Foreigners and the Right of Asylum, Camping La Venise de l’Ouest is required to have clients of foreign nationality fill in and sign an individual police form upon arrival. It must state in particular:

1° Surname and first names;
2° Date and place of birth;
3° Nationality;
4° Usual residence.
Children under 15 may appear on the form of one of their parents.

3. Installation
Outdoor accommodation and related equipment must be installed at the designated pitch in accordance with the directions given by Camping La Venise de l’Ouest or its representative.

4. Reception office
Opening hours depend on the season, so it is advisable to inquire with Camping La Venise de l’Ouest.
At the reception office, all information can be found regarding campsite services, supplies, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the area and various useful addresses.
A system for collecting and processing complaints is available to clients.

5. Display
These internal regulations are displayed at the entrance of the campsite and at the reception office. They are provided to each client upon request.
For classified campsites, the classification category with the mention “tourism” or “leisure” and the number of tourism or leisure pitches are displayed.
Prices for the various services are communicated to clients under the conditions set by the minister in charge of consumer affairs and can be consulted at reception.

6. Departure procedures
Clients are invited to inform the reception office of their departure as early as the day before.

7. Noise and silence
Clients are asked to avoid noise and conversations that might disturb their neighbours.
Sound devices must be adjusted accordingly. Car doors and trunk lids must be closed as quietly as possible.
Camping La Venise de l’Ouest ensures the tranquillity of its clients by setting times during which silence must be total. The use of loudspeakers is strictly prohibited.

8. Visitors
After being authorized by Camping La Venise de l’Ouest or its representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers who receive them.
The client may receive up to two visitors per day, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Outside these hours, visitors are prohibited. Campsite services and facilities are accessible to visitors. However, the use of these facilities may be subject to a fee according to a tariff displayed at the entrance of the campsite and at the reception desk.
Visitor vehicles are prohibited within the campsite.

9. Vehicle circulation and parking
Inside the campsite, vehicles must drive at a speed limited to 10 km/h.
Circulation is allowed during gate opening hours.

Only vehicles belonging to campers staying on the campsite may circulate there. Parking is strictly prohibited on pitches usually occupied by accommodations unless a parking space has been provided for this purpose. Parking must not obstruct circulation or hinder the installation of new arrivals.
Charging electric and/or hybrid cars is prohibited for safety reasons.

10. Condition and appearance of the facilities
Everyone must refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, especially the sanitary facilities.
It is forbidden to pour wastewater on the ground or in gutters.

Household waste, any kind of waste, and paper must be placed in the bins.
Washing is strictly prohibited outside the sinks provided for this purpose.
Laundry drying is tolerated until 10 a.m. near accommodations, provided it is discreet and does not disturb neighbours. It must never be done using the trees.

Plantations and floral decorations must be respected. It is forbidden to hammer nails into trees, cut branches, or make plantings.

It is not permitted to delineate a pitch by personal means or to dig the ground.

Any repair for damage caused to vegetation, fences, the ground, or the campsite facilities will be charged to the person responsible.

The pitch used during the stay must be left in the condition in which the camper found it upon arrival.

11. Safety
a) Fire.
Open fires (wood, charcoal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Stoves must be kept in good working condition and not used in dangerous conditions.
In case of fire, immediately notify management. Fire extinguishers may be used if necessary.
A first-aid kit is available at the reception office.

b) Theft.
Management is responsible for items deposited at the office and has a general obligation to oversee the campsite. Campers remain responsible for their own installations and personal belongings and must report any suspicious persons to management. Clients are invited to take usual precautions to safeguard their property.

12. Games
No violent or disturbing games may be organized near the facilities.
Children must always be supervised by their parents.

13. Dead storage
Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the campsite with management's consent and only at the designated location. This service may be subject to a fee.

14. Animals
The general behaviour of the animal must be compatible with a public establishment. Dogs and other animals must be tattooed or microchipped. They must never be left free. They must not be left on the campsite, even enclosed, in the absence of their owners, who are civilly responsible. Their droppings must be picked up. Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited.
Starting June 2025, the campsite will have a dog park with facilities adapted to dogs’ recreational activities. Vaccination against kennel cough and the rabies vaccine will be mandatory to enter this park and enjoy its facilities. The vaccination record may be requested at any time. If the campsite checks the vaccination record and the animal is found not to be up to date, access to the park will be refused. If the campsite does not check the vaccination record and an animal transmits any disease, the owner of the animal is fully responsible: the campsite declines all responsibility.
Dogs must never be left alone inside the dog park; they are under the full responsibility of their owners. The access gates to the dog park must be compulsorily closed after each passage.
The animal is under the full responsibility of its owner for any injury it may cause to other animals or humans within the campsite. It is not permitted to pet an animal without prior authorization from its owner. For children, this must be done under parental supervision. Any damage caused by an animal to third parties and/or campsite equipment is the responsibility of its owner. The amount of damage caused by the pet during the stay will be billed to its owner. If the animal causes damage or disturbances that inconvenience other campers, or shows aggressive behaviour, the campsite reserves the right to exclude the owners and the animal without compensation.
The animal’s owner must have liability insurance and declare the animal on it. For hygiene reasons, at the end of your stay in a mobile home, cleaning must be particularly thorough.

15. Breach of internal regulations
If a resident disrupts the stay of other users or fails to comply with the provisions of these internal regulations, Camping La Venise de l’Ouest or its representative may, orally or in writing if deemed necessary, give formal notice to stop the disturbances.

In case of serious or repeated breaches of the internal regulations and after formal notice from Camping La Venise de l’Ouest to comply, the contract may be terminated.
In case of a criminal offence, Camping La Venise de l’Ouest may call upon law enforcement.
