Camping Le Bois Verdon

Komt u deze charmante camping bezoeken in een oude en natuurlijke omgeving. De camping ligt op maar 900m van het strand en dichtbij het centrum. U heeft ook toegang tot de fietspaden en het thermen centrum van St Jean de Monts.

Bekende badplaats aan de kust van het licht in de Vendée, Saint Jean de Monts, zal u meteen verleiden met zijn 8 km fijne stranden met fijn zand en zijn 750 ha bos.
In de buurt van de Vendée-eilanden, Yeu en Noirmoutier zijn te ontdekken. Mooie fietspaden laten je de charmes van Saint Jean de Monts (bos, duinen, moerassen ...) ontdekken

Booking
Bookings will be processed upon receipt of the completed booking form and the deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on the type of accommodation and the duration of the stay :
• Booking for rented holiday accommodation: 30% of the total price of the stay + booking fees + (5% of the price of the stay for cancellation insurance - optional, minimum 25 €). Balance due 30 days before arrival.
• Booking a tent/caravan/ campervan pitch : 30% of the total price of the stay + booking fees + (5% of the price othe stay for cancellation insurance -optional, minimum 25 €). Balance payable upon arrival

Confirmation
The booking is effective when you receive confirmation from us. If balance is not paid according to the conditions as set ou below, the booking will deemed as cancelled and the deposit retained.
• For rented holiday accommodation : the balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival. Please note that there will be no reminder of the outstanding balance. If you fail to do so, the management reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you and will retain the total deposit paid to that date.
• For bookings of rented holiday accommodation made within 30 days of your arrival, the full price of the stay must be paid at the time of the booking.
• For all tent/caravan/campervan pitches, the balance is payable upon arrival.
Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
The camping le Bois Verdon offers family holidays, in the traditional sense, and the accommodation has been especially designed for purpose. The camping le Bois Verdon reserves the right to refuse any booking that might contravene or attempt to pervert this principle.

Payement : The booking form must be signed. Payment can be made as follows :
cheque from a French bank, international bankers draft/ international money order or bank card for bookings online.

Prices : Our prices include tent/caravan/campervan pitch rental and holiday accommodation rental, but do not include the tourist tax, the additional fee for pets, the hire of various items and the security deposit of 310 € (this deposit is refundable upon departure providing the holiday accommodation is clean and nothing has been damaged - see below).

Tourist Tax :This local tax (per person per day) is compulsory and must be paid at the same time as the balance.
It is compulsory between 1st of April till 30 th of September.

Security Deposit : For rented holiday accommodation : a security deposit of 310 € will be requested on arrival (220 € for material damages and 90 € for house cleaning, 120 € voor 3 kamers) as a guarantee that the accommodation will be left in GOOD CONDITION. ,This deposit will be refundable within three days after departure, after the multi point checklist has been verified and only if the accommodation has been cleaned and nothing is missing/damaged. The deposit also includes the loan of a magnetic key which opens the barrriers at the entrance of the campsite.
For tent/caravan/campervan pitches : a security deposit is required for use of the magnetic key.

Pets : Category 1 (attack) dogs, Category 2 (guard) dogs are allowed in the campsite.
For an additional daily fee, any other dogs are allowed in the campsite pitch.
They must be always kept on a lead and tattooed with an identification number. The pets passport must be fully up to date and presented at reception upon arrival. Pets are not allowed around pools and playgrounds. Animals have to be taken outside of the campsite for all their toilet needs.

During your stay
• It is the camper's responsability to take out insurance : the campsite le Bois Verdon accepts no responsability in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, etc, or in the event of any incident concerning the civil responsability of the camper.
• All vistors must comply with the provisions of the internal regulations.
• Each named tenant is responsible for disturbance and nuisance caused by persons staying with or visiting them. The management of le Bois Verdon reserve the right to refuse booking and ask any customer to leave the site, should he /she fail to adhere to the campsite rules and regulations.
Camping pitch : The total number of people occupuying a pitch is stictly limited to that stated as its maximum capacity: 6 people for a pitch (included visitors). The site will be available as of 2.30 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated at 12.00 pm ont the day of departure. Every day started is due in full.
Booking Mobile-Home : The total number of people occupuying a booked property is stictly limited to that stated as its maximum capacity : 4 to 6 people depending on the property (included visitors). Arrival day from 3.30 pm and departure before 10 am. You have to make an appointment at the reception 2 days before your departure.

Alterations and cancellation
All bookings are definite once the balance has been paid. They cannot be transferred or sublet. The use of the property/pitch is solely reserved to the party members whose details are clearly mentioned ont the initial booking form.
1) Alteration : Any alteration to the booking should be indicated beforehand by writing (letter, email).This alteration will only occur after the agreement from the campsite.
In the absence of any notification from you regarding a change of arrival date, the accommodationwill be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date specified in the contract and you will consequently forfeit your booking.
2) Unused facilities : Any stay that is interrupted or cut short (late arrival, early departure) by you shall not give rise to any reimbursement.
3) Cancellation fees : If cancellation occurs, more than 30 days before the start of the holiday : the prepaid deposit shall be retained by the camping. Less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, the full cost of the holiday shall be retained by the camping.
4) Cancellation and interruption insurance (optional) : The camping Le Bois Verdon offers you optional Cancellation and Interruption insurance in your rental contract. Our partner Gritchen Affinity will refund all or part of the stay only to customers that have purchased Campez Couvert insurance. In case of cancellation, please notify the campsite of your cancellation as soon as an event occurs that prevents your departure, by letter or by email. If the claim is covered in the general conditions (available at www.campez-couvert.com or from the campsite), please notify the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents.

Visitors : All visitors must report to reception and set the visitor rate. The numbers of visitors should not exceed the capacity of the pitch (limited to 6 people) or the numbers orf persons as provided in the description of the rental. After being authorized by the manager, visitors can be admitted in the campsite under the responsability of the campers who receive them. They are not allowed to go to the swimming-pool. Visitors'cars are not allowed in the campsite.

Disputes : In the event of any dispute, competence is assigned to the campsite's local court.
