GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:

Scope of Application
These general terms and conditions automatically govern all sales of stays at Camping la Bastide—including sales made online via www.camping-la-bastide.com—as well as the sale of ancillary services associated with such stays. They form an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its clients.
Each client acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to booking a stay, both for themselves and for any other person participating in the stay.
In accordance with applicable law, these general terms and conditions are made available to clients for informational purposes prior to the conclusion of any sales contract for a stay. They may also be obtained upon simple written request sent to the establishment's headquarters.

Bookings
Stay prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of VAT. The tourist tax is not included in the quoted price.
All rentals are personal and non-transferable.
Bookings become effective only upon receipt of the deposit payment and confirmation from us. Failure to notify us of a delay within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date specified in the booking confirmation will result in the pitch or rental unit being released for re-booking.

Cancellations
The statutory provisions regarding the right of withdrawal for distance selling, as set out in the Consumer Code, do not apply to tourism services (Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).
Consequently, the customer has no right of withdrawal for any booking made with the campsite.
For cancellations notified 60 days prior to the arrival date, 80% of the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations notified 30 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. After this period, deposits are non-refundable. Booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance. No refunds will be granted in the event of early departure.

Consumer Dispute Mediation:
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code regarding the consumer dispute mediation process, the customer may use the mediation service offered by SARL LES 24 PETITS BONHEURS free of charge. The designated consumer law mediator is CM2C. This mediation service can be contacted:

Agreement to the Rules and Regulations
Finalizing your reservation implies that you—and all participants in your party—agree to our rules and regulations. These are available on our website and posted at the campsite entrance; a printed copy can also be provided upon your arrival.

Rental Units
Rental units are available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Alternative times may be arranged outside of July and August, subject to prior agreement with the campsite.
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
A security deposit of €250 is required upon arrival; the tenant agrees to cover the cost of any damage for which they are responsible, including broken crockery.
A second deposit, equivalent to the cleaning fee for the rented accommodation, will also be required. Deposits will be returned at the end of the stay following an inspection of the rental unit, provided there is no damage or missing items. Rental units are provided clean and must be returned in the same condition. Failure to do so will result in the cleaning fee for the specific accommodation being deducted from the deposit. End-of-stay cleaning services are available upon request (see pricing details). An inventory list is provided in each rental unit; this is checked prior to your arrival, and we ask that you verify it. The number of occupants must not exceed the specified capacity for the chosen rental unit type (see pricing details).

Pitches
Pitches are available from 12:00 PM on the day of arrival until 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
Alternative times may be arranged outside of July and August, subject to prior agreement with the campsite.
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than the day of departure (or the day before, if departing outside reception opening hours).
A security deposit may be required for borrowed or rented equipment. It will be refunded at the end of the stay upon return of the equipment in good working order.
Each pitch accommodates a maximum of 6 people (see pricing conditions).

Additional Services
Additional services associated with the stay cannot be purchased separately, whether free of charge or for a fee; these services must be booked prior to arrival at the campsite and may not be provided if they were not included at the time of the initial booking.
Certain services are subject to a minimum stay requirement.

Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, and any dispute regarding their application falls under the jurisdiction of the *Tribunal de Grande Instance* (Regional Court) or the *Tribunal de Commerce* (Commercial Court) of Bergerac.

CAMPSITE RULES AND REGULATIONS:

Preamble: A camping stay offers the benefit of both shared facilities (sanitary blocks, swimming pool, playgrounds, bar, restaurant, etc.) and private areas (pitches, with or without rental units); this allows guests to enjoy privacy for relaxation while also providing opportunities to meet others and socialize. To ensure everyone fully enjoys their stay, all guests must observe certain rules that facilitate communal living by preserving peace, safety, and the environment.

1.Admission and stay conditions
To enter, set up, or stay on the campsite, one must obtain authorization from the manager or their representative. The manager is responsible for maintaining proper conduct and order on the campsite and ensuring compliance with these internal regulations. No one may establish a permanent residence on the campsite.
Staying at the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of these regulations and a commitment to comply with them.

2. Police formalities
Minors not accompanied by their parents will only be admitted with written authorization from them.
Anyone staying at least one night at the campsite must first present their identification documents to the manager or their representative and complete the formalities required by the police.

3. Setup
Outdoor accommodation and related equipment must be set up on the designated pitch in accordance with the instructions given by the manager or their representative.

4. Arrival and Departure Procedures
Guests are requested to check in at the reception desk before settling into the campsite.
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, check-in for rental accommodation is from 4:00 PM, and for camping pitches from 12:00 PM; arrivals are accepted until 7:00 PM (6:00 PM on Sundays).
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, rental units must be vacated by 10:00 AM, following a pre-arranged appointment for the inventory/inspection. Pitches must be vacated by 12:00 PM.
Guests are asked to notify the reception office of their departure the day before they leave. The outstanding balance for the stay must be paid no later than the day before departure.

5. Reception Office
The reception office provides information on campsite services, local supplies, sports facilities, nearby tourist attractions, and other useful addresses. A system for collecting and handling complaints is available to guests. Complaints will only be considered if they are signed, dated, as detailed as possible, and relate to relatively recent events. They must be brought to the attention of the site manager during the stay in which the issue occurred so that immediate compensation can be provided if applicable. No complaints made after departure will be considered. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably may be referred to the following consumer mediator: CM2C – by mail: 14 rue Saint Jean – 75017 PARIS – or via their website: https://cm2c.net.

6. Noise and Silence
Guests are requested to avoid any noise or conversations that might disturb their neighbors.
Audio devices must be adjusted accordingly. Car doors and trunks should be closed as quietly as possible.
Using mobile phones on speakerphone is prohibited in the campsite's common areas and must not disturb the peace of other campers at their pitches.
Complete silence is required between midnight and 7:00 AM. Guests returning to the campsite during this time must leave their vehicles in the entrance parking lot and walk back to their pitches, respecting the quiet of other guests.

7. Pets
Category 1 dogs (attack dogs) and Category 2 dogs (guard and defense dogs) are prohibited.
Unless expressly authorized in advance, only one pet is allowed per pitch. Upon arrival, the pet's identification card and rabies vaccination certificate must be presented.
Dogs and other animals must never be left to roam freely. They must not be left on the campsite—even if confined—without their owners, who bear civil liability for them. They must be walked outside the grounds to relieve themselves; any waste must be picked up immediately. Access to the swimming pool is strictly prohibited for pets.
Any behavioral issue (barking dogs, failure to clean up waste, etc.) requiring intervention by campsite staff will result in a €100.00 charge.

8. Visitors
Subject to authorization by the manager or their representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite during the day under the responsibility of the campers hosting them.
Guests may receive visitors at the reception area, provided the number of people does not exceed the pitch's capacity. Visitors may access the campsite's facilities and services.
Visitor vehicles are prohibited within the campsite.

9. Vehicle Traffic and Parking
Within the campsite, all vehicles—whether motorized or not—must travel at a speed of no more than 10 km/h and must comply with road signs and traffic flow directions.
All vehicles moving after sunset must be equipped with front and rear lights (including bicycles, scooters, etc.).
Traffic is prohibited between midnight and 7:00 AM.
Only vehicles belonging to campers staying at the site are permitted to circulate within the campsite. Parking is strictly prohibited on pitches normally occupied by accommodation units, unless a designated parking space has been provided. Parking must not obstruct traffic or hinder the setup of new arrivals.
Management accepts no liability for any damage to a tenant's or visitor's vehicle within the campsite grounds or in the unsupervised parking area.

10. Maintenance and appearance of the facilities
Everyone must refrain from any action that could compromise the cleanliness, hygiene, or appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly the sanitary blocks.
Discharging wastewater onto the ground or into drainage channels is prohibited. Guests must empty wastewater into the facilities designated for this purpose.
Household waste, refuse of any kind, and paper must be placed in the designated containers, in compliance with waste sorting guidelines.
Guests must ensure that none of their activities within the campsite harm the environment—specifically through hydrocarbon leaks or the scattering of plastic or polystyrene particles.
Washing items is strictly prohibited except in the sinks/basins provided for this purpose. Connecting a washing machine in the sanitary blocks is strictly prohibited.
With the exception of e-bikes (electric-assist bicycles), charging electric or hybrid vehicles at campsite pitches (whether for tents/caravans or rental units) is prohibited; a dedicated charging point is available for this purpose at the campsite entrance.
Hanging laundry to dry near accommodation units is permitted, provided it is done discreetly and does not disturb neighbors; laundry must never be hung from trees.
Plantings and floral decorations must be respected. Driving nails into trees, cutting branches, or planting new vegetation is prohibited.
Marking out a pitch boundary using personal items or digging into the ground is not permitted; the use of tire chains on pitches is prohibited.
Any costs associated with repairing damage caused to vegetation, fences, the grounds, or campsite facilities will be charged to the person responsible. The site used during the stay must be maintained in the same condition as the camper found it upon arrival.

11. Safety
a) Fire.
Open fires (wood, charcoal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Camping stoves must be kept in good working order and must not be used in hazardous conditions.
In the event of a fire, notify management immediately. Fire extinguishers are available for use if necessary.
b) First aid.
A first aid kit is located at the reception office.
c) Theft.
Management accepts no liability for theft within the campsite premises. Campers remain responsible for their own equipment and must report the presence of any suspicious persons to the person in charge. Guests are advised to take standard precautions to safeguard their belongings.

12. Games
No violent or disruptive games may be organized near the facilities. The meeting room may not be used for boisterous games. Children must be supervised by their parents at all times.

13. Off-season storage
Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the grounds with management's approval and in the designated location. This service may incur a fee, quoted in advance; otherwise, billing will be based on the current rate for a standard pitch without electricity.

14. Posting of rules
These internal regulations are displayed at the campsite entrance and at the reception office. A copy is provided to any guest upon request.

15. Violation of internal regulations
If a resident disturbs the stay of other guests or fails to comply with the provisions of these internal regulations, the manager (or their representative) may—verbally or in writing, if deemed necessary—formally require the resident to cease the disruptive behavior.
In the event of a serious or repeated violation of the regulations, and following a formal notice from the manager to comply, the manager may terminate the contract.
In the event of a criminal offense, the manager may call the police.

SWIMMING POOL RULES (PRIVATE POOL FOR SHARED USE)

Preamble: We make every effort to maintain the pool in the best possible hygienic and safe condition.
At the same time, our commitment to environmental preservation leads us to monitor the pool's water consumption.
Finally, the simultaneous use of the pool by adults and children requires an environment that ensures the well-being of all.
With this in mind, all pool users must follow certain rules to help achieve these objectives.

Pool access is a complimentary service provided alongside the campsite's accommodation facilities.
The pool is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, from late May to late September.
Management reserves the right to change opening hours or temporarily close the pool, particularly for technical, hygiene, or safety reasons.

As this is a private pool for shared use, there is no lifeguard on duty.

Children swimming—and their compliance with all the rules set out in these regulations—are the sole responsibility of the parents or accompanying adults, who must supervise them and bear civil liability for their actions.

Entering the pool enclosure wearing outdoor shoes is prohibited, except for staff members performing their duties.

The following are prohibited within the pool enclosure or in the water:
- Running
- Pushing, jumping, or diving into the water
- Smoking
- Spitting, urinating, or defecating
- Bringing in food or drinks (including candy and chewing gum; unflavored water is permitted)
- Bringing in glass objects or containers
- Bringing in animals, even on a leash or in a cage (a designated area for animals is available outside the pool enclosure; please ask campsite management about access conditions). -Using large floats or other large inflatable objects.
-Discarding or throwing away paper, objects, and waste of any kind anywhere other than in the bins specifically designated for this purpose.

Mandatory requirements:

You must use the footbath and shower before entering the water; if re-entering the pool after spending time on the poolside deck, please use the footbath and shower again before getting back into the water.

- You must wear swimwear specifically designed for swimming (in terms of style and material) that fits close to the body. Swimwear must provide sufficient coverage to maintain decency.
Swimwear must not be worn outside the pool area.

- Babies may only enter the pool water wearing swim diapers (available at reception if needed).

Restrictions:

Only provided accessories (hoops, weighted rings, balls, etc.) are permitted in the pool.
Use of these items may be restricted during periods of high attendance.

The use of devices that emit or amplify sound (whistles, radios, phones, etc.) and loud conversations must not disturb the peace and quiet of others in the pool area.

Access to the pool area and the pools themselves is prohibited for individuals with contagious skin, digestive, or respiratory conditions.

For hygiene reasons, individuals wearing a cast, bandage, or medical device may be permitted to swim, provided the item is not submerged.

Access to the pool area and the pools themselves is prohibited for individuals under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.

Photography and filming are permitted only if the resulting images or footage are for strictly private family use and comply with current regulations regarding image rights.
The privacy and personal space of everyone in the pool area must be respected. The pool rules may be displayed using pictograms at the entrance and within the pool area; in the event of any ambiguity regarding their interpretation, the text of these rules shall prevail.

Any violation of these rules may, depending on the severity of the infraction and/or whether it is a repeat offense, result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the pool, or even expulsion from the campsite.
