Renting from Alexander turned into an absolute nightmare that ruined our family holiday on day one. Upon pick-up, the child seat provided was unfit for the motorhome, forcing us to sleep overnight parked on the street outside his home while he bought a replacement the next morning. Once on the road, within minutes of driving at standard speed, a side window completely shattered and blew off due to pre-existing structural damage from a previous trip (which was later confirmed in Goboony's dispute investigation as a known defect prior to handover). The vehicle was totally unroadworthy and unsafe to travel in. We had to return the vehicle immediately and pay out of pocket for emergency accommodation in Edinburgh. Goboony's official dispute team ruled that Alexander committed a material breach of contract by providing a vehicle with known structural defects and ordered a full refund. Despite receiving the rental earnings in his account since late July, Alexander has refused to refund the £603 owed, completely ignoring communications and formal requests. Avoid renting from this owner. Renting an unroadworthy vehicle is a serious safety hazard, and his refusal to return funds after ruining a holiday speaks for itself. Augustus 2026

Alexander was a fantastic host. He was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and adapted the handover perfectly to our arrival time. We explored Glencoe, Ben Nevis, and the Cairngorms. The motorhome was very comfortable—we slept really well and it’s very easy to drive. The heating is efficient and the equipment is well thought out, including nice extras like shopping bags, an umbrella, etc. A wonderful stay overall, highly recommended! Mei 2026
