We rented Haystacks for a second time this year. A return to Western Scotland, a little further up this time. Handover was seamless as we already knew how things worked. The van felt like our second home and we quickly relaxed into our 10 day holiday. Michelle and Fayez are friendly and super accommodating, giving us the option of ordering a good delivery, adding and removing items from the van to suit our needs and being flexible about times. We are very grateful as it made for a more relaxed trip. They kept in touch enough for us to feel cared about. We mostly stayed at a campsite near Arisaig paddleboarding, biking and walking. The beaches are stunning. It was easy to manage the sand as the extra shower at the rear of the van allowed us to rinse off wetsuits and feet with ease. The bikes could be easily loaded and secured. A day trip on foot to the Isle of Rum rewarded us with lots of wildlife sightings including Dolphins. We wild camped a few nights with recommendations from Michelle and Fayez. We will book again and have many more places we want to explore. Augustus 2026

We had the best time in Haystacks! The van was clean, cosy and had all the amenities you could possibly need on a trip. We used it with 4 adults; it was a bit tight for our tall friend (190cm) but we managed and a 1000x better than a tent. Michelle and Fayaz went out of their way to help us in advance and during the trip. I would recommend this van to anyone and we will probably be coming back another year! Juli 2026

We hired Michelle & Fayaz’s gorgeous van Haystacks to drive the North Coast 500 over ten days in May 2026. In the lead up to the trip they couldn’t have been more helpful in answering any questions about the van and its contents. Likewise with the handover, they were so welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know. They were also on hand via Watsapp or phone if we had any questions en route. The trip was brilliant, a real adventure, and to have the van to sleep in, cook, keep warm and relax made for a real home from home. The beds were cosy and comfortable with the option of heating on a chilly day or night. The kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed and the lighting was great too. The van had lots of thoughtful touches such as travel books and puzzles. It was our first time experiencing van life and we loved it. Thank you! Juni 2026

Michelle and Fayez are the kindest most considerate hosts. The handover was thorough and informative. We had an amazing week in Haystacks staying one night at Oban and the rest in Mull. Our campsite was Fidden Farm, which is pure paradise, highly recommend. Haystacks is super comfy, extremely well equipped, easy to drive, warm and beautiful. We'd love to hire it again.
