Dave and Carolyn were great. We hired the van on very short notice after our other booking fell through. They were flexible to accommodate our pick up and drop off times,.and the van itself was perfect for a long weekend away, it drove well and Dave responded quickly to a query while we were using it. The handover was next to a train station which was quite convenient. Dave gave us clear instructions and guidelines about the campervan. It was quite comfortable and exactly as in the pictures. We were able to cook without issues and the hot showers were a nice addition to our trip, specially because we could avoid the cold showers available at the festival we attended lol. Overall Dave was quite helpful and everything went great regarding the rental. Thanks Dave! Augustus 2024

Dave is a fantastic host; friendly, with great communication and was flexible to help meet our requirements. Parking for your own vehicle can be arranged at the train station easily on the day as it never seems to be full. We travelled as a family of three with a 5 year old and the van was great. Very clean and functional with everything needed for off grid camping. We had no hookup where we went so having the gas powered shower and chemical toilet was a godsend. All the plug sockets and usb etc for charging mobiles worked off the solar, we didn’t turn the engine over for four days and didn’t run out of electricity or gas (didn’t have to switch to the backup bottle either). 5 stars all round, would definitely recommend this van conversion.
