Hallo, wij zijn Chris & Julia!

STOURBRIDGE, Verenigd Koninkrijk – Lid sinds juli 2020

Wij zijn een jong (achtig!) Stel dat niets liever doet dan reizen, reizen, reizen !! We zijn over de hele wereld geweest, hebben enkele sensationele bezienswaardigheden gezien en veel onvergetelijke herinneringen gemaakt, maar tegenwoordig vinden we het leuk dat onze reis in het VK is gevestigd en onze kleine vloot VW-campers biedt de perfecte gelegenheid om dit te doen. We zijn vooral dol op de Schotse Hooglanden en eilanden. We hebben momenteel 4 campers, Stanley, Peggy, Alfie en Lily, elk met hun eigen karakter en eigenaardigheden - ze zijn net als onze baby's!

Deze baby's zijn gemaakt om te worden gebruikt, daarom hebben we besloten ze te verhuren, zodat ze hun eigen leven kunnen leiden en andere mensen kunnen helpen om dat ook te doen! We hebben zoveel van onze eigen avonturen met hen meegemaakt en ze hebben ons nooit in de steek gelaten. Een ander briljant onderdeel van rondreizen in een retro VW-camper is dat je altijd vrienden lijkt te maken, waar je ook heen gaat. Als je in een van deze rijdt, voel je je een rockster - terwijl iedereen lacht, zwaait, op hun hoorn toert en met hun lichten naar je flitst! Ze brengen echt overal vreugde.

Als je vragen hebt, stuur ons dan een bericht. Als er iets is dat we kunnen doen om u de vakantie van uw leven te bezorgen in een van onze kampeerders, vraag het dan gewoon en we zullen ons best doen om het u te vergemakkelijken.

Absolutely beautiful little van. Having a little knowledge on how to handle these classics will help get the most out of this cheeky chap. Didn’t let me down once, was very clean and comfortable, came with everything I needed to make some food on the road. Chris was very good at getting back to me and helped me out with what I needed. We had the pleasure to experience Englands beautiful and scenic south coast with Peggy - the Bonny bright yellow campervan. She is fully equipped with everything you need for the perfect trip. Being a retro VW campervan it really brings you down to your roots and to experience the slow relaxing rural life. The public smile and wave while driving through villages with the occasional friendly beep from cars and other campervans on the road. On top of this wonderful get away, Chris and Julia are so friendly making sure you feel secure when setting off and were absolutely amazing dealing with any enquires we had during the trip. We would love to plan a trip away in Peggy again as there are so many more beautiful places to visit. Thank you Chris and Julia for this amazing experience. I’m sure we will see you again soon. Me and my partner had a lovely time 3 nights in this campervan. Chris and Julia are so nice and helpful - they provide you with EVERYTHING you would need for the trip and even a hamper with essentials such as bread, milk, butter, tea & coffee and Cava! Bedding not included due to COVID so don’t forget blankets/duvet Chris stayed in touch with us during our trip and was easy to contact If we had any questions. We had never driven a campervan before (or a left hand drive) so we were a bit sceptical about driving this but it was surprisingly easy to get used to, and really fun to drive! September 2020

I am a newbie to the campervan scene, and admit I was feeling quite anxious about being caretaker of the beautiful Lily! The first few miles were to say the least hair raising, a situation not improved by the thunderstorm that arrived as I turned the engine on! Left hand drive, old gearing, hand brake sticking out of the dashboard and the turning circle of an artic lorry certainly took some getting used to - but once on the open road I think we all agreed that there really is nothing better than tootling along at 40 miles an hour, a completely different - and very relaxing driving experience. With regards the interior Chris and Julia really have thought of everything- the van is extremely well equipped and we had a lot of fun cooking and using the van as our home. There was space for myself and 2 adult children, my 6ft 4 son struggled a bit - but the awning was perfect for him to sleep in. It even survived a HUGE thunderstorm with high winds and torrential rain. He was completely dry all night. Needless to say my daughter and I were very cosy in the van...... So in summary, a great experience- and one we fully intend to repeat. But I still get butterflies thinking of those first few moments....... Augustus 2020

Many thanks to Chris and Julia for letting us have their lovely VW Camper. We enjoyed driving around Snowdonia in her. She had everything we needed for the trip including a pack of Uno in the glovebox for a rainy day. The goody basket was also much appreciated. We would recommend hiring from Chris and Julia. 5 stars!!! Augustus 2020
