Positief: This site is fantastic. We have been coming here for many years, initially as a small family and now as a couple. It has remained as one of our favourite sites in France and offers everything you need for a great holiday. It still offers the tennis and the boules area and the pool is fantastic. The staff are excellent and really look after you. The shop is perfectly stocked with just the right amount of goods available. All in all an almost perfect place.

Kan beter: Unfortunately, the takeaway facility is lacking. We ordered several items during our stay, including a croque monsieur which was unfortunately inedible, cold, soggy and falling apart. I was stunned to find out that as a takeaway you had to order some items 24 hours in advance! The menu for the restaurant should reflect what is actually being served, we booked a table looking forward to the moules only to be told they are not in season, not a major issue, I know but it need not have happened.

Positief: Lovely campsite set in woods with beautiful flowers all around. The swimming pool area was beautiful and well maintained. Lovely to swim in and very clean.

Kan beter: The sunbeds were extremely uncomfortable to lie on.

Positief: Staff very nice & welcoming, every where was super clean, beautiful surroundings, lots to do if you want but also quiet walks or sit at the lake to relax, loved the plants & flowers, the swimming pool was great and we had good food in the restaurant. Talked to quite a few people who come back year after year so it shows that it is a great place to stay. I will recommend it to my friends

Kan beter: None

Positief: So peaceful and welcoming. So clean and friendly. Just far too short this trip already looking forward to a longer stay next year

Positief: Beautiful site, huge pitches, private bathroom and very friendly staff. Well stocked shop and good walks from the site.

Kan beter: Can’t think of any

Positief: Staff extremely polite, courteous and exceptionally helpful.

Positief: Zeer aangenaam

Positief: Plenty of room and very quiet

Positief: It is always a delight to stay at La Garangeoire - a place which holds such fond memories for 3 generations of my family. It really is our home away from home!

Positief: What a fantastic place to stay. We reserved a pitch for our motorhome. It was extremely comfortable, with plenty of space and we especially liked the fact there was a private shower and toilet hut on the pitch itself. It was very level and surrounded by nature, making the stay extra special. The takeaway was an added bonus, the pizza's were delicious. All sorts of activities available from the campsite, along with discounts offered for other places in the local area. Great basecamp to explore the vendee region.

Kan beter: Fishing is available onsite, however there didn't seem to be too many areas to do so. We also found the waters to be quiet, no bites whatsoever, however the weather was very warm so may of had an effect on the fish. Other than that it was brilliant
